Good Day, Friends!

The day is 19 past the New Year! These summer holidays have been quite boring and exciting and interesting. I've finally worked out that I'm better at drawing than taking photos. I think. Well it all depends on the camera or how enthused I am at the time about taking photos.

Over the holidays I've read, and failed to read a few books; Pride and Prejudice I completed before Christmas- it seems strange how it is such an acclaimed classic... It's so predictable! I started to read Catch 22 about April last year, and still have not finished it. It seems to be the hardest book to get through... like swimming through a bog! I have also discovered an amazing mini series- Band of Brothers. Produced by Spielberg and Tom Hanks, it is the best 700 minutes of film I have ever viewed in my life! Based on a true story of Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airbourne Division. It follows the story (historically accurately written by Stephen E. Ambrose) of them dropping into France on D-Day, capturing towns, dropping into Holland for Operation Market Garden (FAIL) and then Battling it out in Bastonge and Battle of the Bulge. They captured Hilter's Eagle's Nest and Nazi HQ! It's FRIGGEN FANTASTIC! It's amazing. A true Masterpiece!

Anyway, I've watched that twice, been working and am current watching the BBC production of Pride and Prejudice!
I'm back at school in a week... Oh Joy. I miss seeing my friends all the time!
